A Leading financial service are looking to hire a Support Technician to help with the on-boarding of new staff and regular compliance issues.

Ideally they are looking for a graduate who is looking to get into the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

*Accountable for ensuring overall client satisfaction while at the same time meeting the firm's global audit, compliance, risk and control requirements.

Overall this includes:

oOwning on-boarding a new opportunity end to end.
oMoving the on-boarding request through the process as quickly and effectively as possible (KYC/Legal/Credit).
oCommunicating the status to internal and external parties.

*Specific responsibilities include:

oIdentifies receipts and reviews documents.
oLabel and prepare documents into proper format so that documents may be imaged and researched for valid account reference data.
oEnsure accounts are in compliance with regulatory rules to conform with OTC clearing requirements. Communicates with Credit, Legal, KYC, and Accounts teams to ensure each step in the on-boarding process is completed prior to account opening.
oSort documents for shipping to investors and custodians. Must have good analytical skills and attention to detail.
oGood written and verbal skills.
oExperience with Excel and SharePoint.
oAbility to work within a team environment as well as individually.
*Manage work pipelines and be aware of when to escalate issues to Lead analysts/Regional Heads
*To identify issues with the process, create and drive a solution, once having gained approval from Team lead and regional/global manager
*Develop and maintain MIS on end to end process for tracking turnaround times of deliverables from team and other processing areas

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience:

*Previous banking experience, specifically of customer onboarding/electronic applications sign ups within a global financial services organisation would be very advantageous
*Must have experience of/desire to work in a deadline oriented department
*To be part of an organisation that is committed to becoming a market leader in Client Service
*An opportunity to learn about multiple products
*Opportunity to develop individual and team profiles
*High level exposure to sales, trading, technology, product development and clients
*Potential to become involved with client on boarding project analysis, user acceptance testing and deployment

*Very strong teamwork skills in a small local setting, as well as across different geographic locations;
*Ability to work with a remote management is a must
*Must possess good communication skills with the ability to be assertive;
*Strong organization skills with an excellent attention to detail;
*Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure.
*Ability to work in a target driven environment meeting agreed SLAs
*Demonstrate the ability to organise workflow, working to drive efficiencies and process improvements
*Complete all required tasks in a timely manner and to required standard
*Excellent awareness of and adherence to audit
