Graduate Operations Analyst - good IT Skills Required

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We have a number of opportunities for Graduates to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. This is a fantastic opportunity which will offer the successful candidates excellent career progression.

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:

The roles sit within various teams and have responsibilities including:

- Working closely with Front Office and other departments within the bank
- Support the month-end reporting cycle ensuring compliance with the month end plan.
- Support the control mechanism for all Intercompany (Balance Sheet, derivative and P&L positions) using data held in the single ledger system
- Manage Fixed Income matching and settlement processes in by working with Traders, Sales people and other FI Ops teams globally, maximising settlement efficiency
- Liaising closely with the settlement agents to minimise settlement risk and funding errors
- Identifies and assesses opportunities for developments and improvements
- Review trade/agent costs in an act to reduce for future processes.

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- A real passion for working within an investment bank
- A degree in a finance-related subject (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical & investigative skills
- Excellent communication skills and confident liaising with Senior Stakeholders within the bank
