Graduate Environmental Advisor

This is a 12 week work placement with Ashfield Solutions Ltd based in Abercynon.

Ashfield Solutions Ltd provides independent land advice and project management services, in the field of soil and groundwater contamination, to assist land owners and developers in managing their liabilities and realising the value of their assets.

The successful candidate will be required to produce specialist advice regarding risks associated with contaminated land. This work placement will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their management & communication skills.

Non-EU/EEA graduates also need to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK by attaching a scanned copy of a work visa.

Essential Requirements :

Honours Degree in any of the following:
Environmental/Civil Engineering
Applied Environmental Geology
Environmental Hydrogeology.
Experience in assessing groundwater & land contamination.
Full UK driving licence.
Proficient in MS Office (Word & Excel).
Excellent written ArcGIS, CAD, Modflow, global mapper.
Expected Outcomes :
Produced specialist advice regarding risks associated with contaminated land to company directors and clients.
Produced clear and concise reports where required.
Developed candidate management & communication skills.
