Tangent are currently looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to work for our client, a large rail engineering company. The role is a 6 month rolling contract, to start as soon as possible.
We are looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to assist in the design of HV Power Distribution systems on a variety on rail projects. Reporting to the Principal Electrical Engineer, you will have the ability to deliver railway designs supporting other Senior Engineers and designers in a small electrical design team.
Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification) in electrical engineering the ideal candidate may have limited experience or be capable of quickly assimilating the following design skills:
Delivery of design and methodology statements for traction power supply equipment for 25kV electrification projects.
Design of railway and traction substation electrical systems.
Isolation Diagrams and Isolation Instructions.
Rates around £14 - £18 per hour
