Graduate Billing Analyst (invoice, billing, degree, graduate, accounts, reconciliations)

Based in Redhill, Surrey, this is a 6 month fixed term contract initially paying up to £23,500 per annum.

Are you a bright and enthusiastic recent graduate wanting to join an multi-national company and gain excellent experience within accounts, then this is the role for you.

This company is an award winning international recruitment company with an excellent finance team and they are looking for an upstart Billing Analyst to join their talented and dynamic team. To have the opportunity to join in this fantastic job, you will need a solid academic background (AAT or Degree), a quick learner, keen interest in Accounts and great Excel skills are a must.

Duties may include, but are not limited to (emphasis may vary):

1. To download approved time from the program online time recording systems. To validate the data, format and bill in line with Client requirements.
2. To raise self-bill invoices to suppliers in line with agreed timetable and arrange payment in line with contractual terms
3. For non self-bill programs, to validate, post and pay supplier invoices in line with contractual terms.
4. To provide monthly sales and cost of sale reconciliations to the Management Accounting team.
5. To prepare and validate monthly sales and cost of sale accruals to the Management Accounting team.
6. To manage the purchase ledgers for program suppliers across the entities (UK and Europe). To reconcile supplier statements.
7. To liaise with the Operational Program teams to rectify issues and queries promptly.
8. To efficiently deal with queries from both Clients and Suppliers.
9. To provide support and information to the Management Accounts department and other areas of Finance as and when required.
10. To provide data and assist with queries from internal and external auditors as required.
11. To be pro-active in developing more effective ways of working to improve the overall quality and timeliness of output from the department.
12. To ensure that all work is achieved within established deadlines.
13. To take responsibility on a daily basis for filing and archiving within own area.

Plus any other ad hoc duties as and when required.
