Government Accounting Manager Job

A GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTING MANAGER is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in INDEPENDENCE, OH.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Lead the annual Government Controls risk assessment and Business System self-assessment and testing process.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for meeting metrics and timely completion of the risk and self-assessment.
- Develop tests that meet the requirements of the control being tested.
- Work with other functional areas of the Business to close control risks.
- Developing Disclosure Statements, Government Accounting changes and understanding the compliance requirements within Government Accounting.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA/CPA preferred.
- Minimum 4 years finance experience in an Aerospace/Government contracting environment.
- Knowledge of DCAA audit procedures required.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Forward Pricing Rates development and cost incurred rate submittals required.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Estimating systems and proposal development required.
- High level of self initiative and bias for action.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Expert level experience with MS Excel and MS Office Suite of products.
- SAP experience a plus.
- This is a six (6) month contract, paying between $45 - $50 per hour.
