Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager

My client, a large Financial Services organisation that offers a holistic suite of Services to it's Australian customer base. A household name with strong brand presence across multiple business streams in the Financial Service arena.

The Team is part of a newly formed CRO function within the Life business, the focus of the role is manage Governance, Risk and Compliance for the huge Adviser distribution network across the group.

Part of the function of this role will be to drive a strong Risk management and compliance culture, having real teeth in this regard. The outcome will be to ensure prompt resolution of regulatory, audit and associated issues across the business.

In this position you will be responsible for:

- Group compliance and risk operations
- Identify, oversee the development of policy and procedure and ensure roll-out to the business
- Assist/oversee the review and improvement of the Compliance and RM framework
- Face off to the business in the identification, management and resolution of compliance, business risk and initiatives
- Facilitate the compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations
