GMI SME Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the GMI Team Leader, the successful candidate will be required to:

. Be the lead SME for GMI Exchange Traded Derivatives and some exposure to OTC Cleared.
. Able to independently lead and deliver multiple project s across varied aspects of the Futures business.
. Develop effective solutions to satisfy business requirements utilising AS400 technical experience. Both in own projects and providing guidance to other team members.
. Provide system matter expertise on the Sungard GMI vendor system.
. Manage stakeholders to MD level, providing updates/justification and guidance on in-flight and upcoming projects.
. Challenge existing viewpoints and guide project teams in both Operations and Technology towards optimal solutions.
. Provide second/third line support expertise and guidance to ETD Support teams across the globe.
. Provide SME and technical training to other members of the team.
. Support multiple streams of GMI testing and implementations
. Write functional & technical specifications
. Code, test and release changes as per standard guidelines

Person Specification
Knowledge/Experience:

Good understanding of Exchange Traded Derivative clearing and settlement life cycles.
Experience on EMIR Regulatory Space
Good knowledge on Treasury and Funding flows
Good knowledge on the Brokerage, Fees and Commisions
Strong Sungard GMI expertise, ideally over several years.
StrongRPG coding experience
Excellent SQL skills
Good AS400 operating knowledge
Proven project delivery experience
Strong client-facing experience

. Credibility to take a lead role in delivering projects/tasks. Confidence to raise concerns/suggest improvements at all levels.
Qualifications:

Educated to degree or equivalent level, preferably in Computing/Information Systems. Exceptional candidates who do not meet this criterion may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
