Global Technical Buyer (m/f)

- Global Purchasing of strategic technical equipment and services for chemical plants
- Market Screening for identifying and selecting qualified supplier for global tenders
- Executing tenders with bid comparison and supplier selection
- International negotiations combined with related contract and claim management
- Sustainable development of suppliers and expansion of the global supplier base
- Ensuring that requested equipment and services are supplied and executed on time, with required quality at the best costs
- Participation in international CAPEX project teams (business, technology, R&D in various locations)
- International Travel appr. 30%
- Degree of (economic) Engineering (mechanical engineering or process engineering) or equivalent education
- Professional experience in international technical procurement for equipment and services in the process industry
- Experience in all aspects of contract and claim management
- Knowledge of Mircrosoft Office applications and SAP
- English - business fluent
- Project management skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
