Global Support Engineer (m/f)

Our Client is an international operating company in the area of test systems for the semiconductor industry. For it's location in Boeblingen it is seeking you as Engineer Global Support (m/f).

Location:Böblingen

Type of contract:unlimited permanent position direct with our client

Your key tasks:
You will in a team which is providing global technical support and new product definition & product introduction to the regional support organizations
You will act as expert at 3rd level global technical support for Semiconductor Test Systems, including escalation management and structured problem resolution & management
You will define support requirements for new product developments in R&D
You will ensure that new products do meet these requirements in regards to supportability, support cost and support revenue targets
You will provide your expertise for documentation and training development
You will be responsible for new product introduction/roll out towards all regional support organizations
You will support Quality Management
You will do global project management

Your profile:
Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
About three years professional experience in support or quality management role in electrical engineering
Know-how regarding project management
Well organized work style and a global viewpoint
Fluent English language skills
Conversational German language skills
