*Global Mobility Advisor-Financial Services-St Paul's-6 months*

Bank of America Merrill Lynch have a requirement for a Global Mobility Specialist based near St Paul's.
The Global Mobility Advisor role involves frequent interaction with the Bank's assignees, Line of Business (LOB) Managers, HR Partners, other Bank functions and external vendors. They are responsible for advising HR/LOB Managers on the Bank's international assignment programs and the related assignment/relocation process. In addition, they manage the relationship with international assignees throughout the assignment cycle.

Key responsibilities include:

*Provision of consultative end-to-end assignment services, including:
-Enabling decision-making by making Global Mobility program options, recommendations and guidance to LOB partners based on facts and business circumstances
-Present/explain assignment terms, conditions and processes to assignees including explanation of applicable tax policies
-Act as primary point of contact for assignee and HR partners in designated business units during all the phases of the assignment life cycle
-Ensure the delivery of high quality Global Mobility services, including third party vendor services (Relocation, Immigration, Tax) to assignees
-Ensure that Global Mobility programs are administered in compliance with taxation and other relevant legislative requirements
-Work in partnership with Global Mobility Advisors across all regions to ensure a seamless end-to-end process, consistent advice and the development of a team knowledge store

*Delivery of agreed ad hoc project work, including: Identification and implementation of initiatives that contribute towards the development of the Global Mobility function as a Centre of Excellence
Required Skills/Attributes

*Global Mobility experience preferably the financial services industry
*Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
*Good understanding of personal tax cross-border implications and immigration
*Acts with a sense of urgency and drives issues through completion
*Attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities
*Highly organised and numerate
*A problem solver with a "can do" attitude and a client-service mentality
*A team player who thinks and acts cross-functions
*Proactive and focused on continuous improvement
*International experience; accustomed to work in a global team across time zones
*Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint) and cost estimates calculators
