An exciting opportunity has arisen to join my client, a major banking institution, as a Global Mobility Consultant based in Manchester on an initial 6 month project. The role holder will manage a portfolio of cases across multiple regions, Divisions and Business areas producing detailed Costings for assignments and supporting the Business to gain the appropriate sign-off and approval for the Costing. In addition, the role holder will understand global mobility processes, roles and responsibilities and will support Internationally Mobile Employees, assisting them with relocation logistics in home and host locations, including tax set-up, visa support, relocation management, set-up of pay, repatriation.

In order to be eligible for this role candidates must have the following skills and experience:

. Global Mobility experience - An understanding/knowledge of all areas relating to International Mobility and an understanding of how each issue may impact on policy, process, international tax and social security, immigration, relocation, employment etc.
. Working knowledge of HR policy, processes and associated support systems
. Experience with long term/short term relocations and international assignments
. Excellent written and oral communication skills - must be able to effectively communicate complex and/or technical aspects of policy at all levels of the organisation
. Experience of working in a large Global Corporation - must be able to work cross-divisionally and form strong partnerships with other Business areas and third-party stakeholders
. Experience of managing stakeholders and other relationships including building and managing relationships within a diverse customer group
. Strong customer focus skills and the proven ability to continually exceed customer expectations
. Ability to work effectively within a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills
