Global Master Data Specialist Job

GLOBAL MASTER DATA SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in OXNARD, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- First line Phone Support in the deployment and support of TPS Biotech and Field Breeding applications
- Strong Microsoft Access and Excel.
- Must know how to use SAP
- Preferrably have a scienctific background

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Maintain a high level of data integrity in SAP and other databases for uses by other business functions
- Responsible for data entry and maintenance of pricing, customer data, and material information
- Perform data analysis in regards to seed materials, SKUs, labeling, packaging, treatment and other information
- Establish and maintain effective metrics measurement, tracking and reporting tools
- Provide business support by completing data entry requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform repetitive data entry while adhering to established rules and procedures
- Ability to collaborate with others via strong communication skills (written and verbally)
- Responsible for the validation of correct material data in multiple databases
- Ability to effectively analyze data from multiple database systems
- Ability to read and interpret data, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations
- Views and considers issues from the point of view of all impacted stakeholders
- Reacts quickly to unexpected changes within teams, providing direction to the team
- Provides direction to teams in implementing changes based on opportunities
- Fully communicates the impact of the changes across teams

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS or MS in Bio or Plant Sciences preferred, will consider Agriculture or Information Systems
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Help Desk experience required
