World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Global Market Research & Insight Assistant to provide support to the current Global Heavy Duty Engine Oil (HDEO) Market Research Consultant to deliver market research projects on time and on budget.
This is a hands on role where you will be liaising with a wide range of third parties in order to evaluate their findings through market research from direct feedback with users of heavy goods vehicles and heavy duty engine oil ie. truckers at the depots etc. This research will then help to ensure key findings and recommendations gained through research are built into marketing strategies and plans. You will be interacting with Global HDEO, B2B and Customer Marketing Research & Insights Consultants as part of a virtual team.

As Market Research Assistant you will provide support to the current Global Insight Manager to deliver the Global Brand Tracker on time and on budget.


- Manage research partner on the Global Brand Tracker to ensure it is on time and budget.
- Anticipate any issues with delivery and inform supervisor ahead of impact.
- Review methodology to ensure tool integrity and alert supervisor of any issues.
- Review reports to ensure QA, and assist in extracting insights.
- Reach out to markets to align on quarterly questionnaire, and any methodology changes.


- Experience in a global operating research team, and with global brands, preferred.
- Deep knowledge of market research and methodologies, techniques and tools.
- Experience as a Research expert/specialist at a leading research company or FMCG company.
- Experienced in proactively identifying insights and finding creative ways to look at the business.
- Highly effective at presenting complex information and analysis in a compelling and persuasive manner.
- Disciplined at conducting all work within the budget assigned and making trade-offs as necessary
- Strong project management skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate priorities.
