Global IT Sales and Marketing Lead

Edelway SA currently have many senior exciting and challenging opportunities in the field of IS/IT Retail.

Our multinational end client in the French speaking part of Switzerland (Geneva/Lausanne) is now looking for his Global IT Sales and Marketing Lead. English speaking only is required. French or German will be a plus.

Reporting to the program director (who reports to the CIO), you will have responsibility for the design and delivery of the global template solution and its implementation across countries. The Sales and Marketing stream within the program includes the functional areas of sales, marketing and service across the following domains: eBusiness, Boutiques, Call Centre, CRM, B2B Sales and Trade. This is a senior permanent position and an excellent package is on offer for the right person.

You will work closely with key business stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements, translate these into an integrated solution design and plan, validate this with the business, and manage the delivery of the solution according to the program timelines and rollout schedule.

The program will include a major IS/IT transformation for which SAP Retail has been selected as software platform.


*Collaborate with enterprise architects and selected software vendors while working with a systems Integration partner to build and lead a team of team leads, solution architects and specialists.
*Work alongside functional counterparts to ensure end to end solution integration and with development, infrastructure and service management teams to ensure the overall quality and timeliness of delivery.


Business partner:

*Act as primary IS/IT counterpart to the business for the transformation program
*Analyse business priorities and requirements and guide the business in the appropriate solution approach according to program principles and budget and time constraints
*Provide proactive insight and guidance on new solutions that can bring business value
*Accountable for design and delivery of all aspects of the solution
*Lead the planning and execution of the design and build of the global template and necessary local market enhancements
*Work closely with internal and external service providers to ensure overall quality and timeliness of solution design and delivery

People management:

*Build and lead a high performing team of internal, contractor and consultant resources
*Set overall direction and team and individual performance objectives and measure achievement against these
*Provide appropriate coaching, training and other development needs
*Manage budget and headcount


*Fluent English. Any other major languages will be a plus.
*Management experience of similar scope/complexity
*Large scale multi-channel retail implementation exposure based on SAP (Retail and CRM modules)
*Understanding of an ERP integration with best of breed eCommerce, POS, mobile and other channel solutions
*Global Template and market localization experience
*Very strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
*Degree Educated
