Global Data Warehouse Manager - (SQL Server 2008 / 2008 R2, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Business Intelligence, Database, Urgent) - Birmingham

My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Data Warehousing Manager to operate across global locations, primarily in Europe. My client are using a number of BI toolsets, but the bulk of their data and reporting is SQL Server based using SSIS and SSAS technologies.

This role has come about purely down to growth within the team and its due to an internal promotion has driven this role to be available, so meritocracy and career progression is evident for anyone wishing to look at this opportunity; with a business turning over billions.
You will be expected to remain hands on technical with a focus of project delivery and an appreciation for emerging products and also maximising the products currently in use.

The expertise required for this role are:-
-Minimum of 5-7 years of stable, professional experience performing business or system analysis in the development and implementation of business applications, at least 4 of which specifically involve Data warehouse solutions.
-Must have expertise from successful deployment of Data warehouse and Enterprise Reporting solutions and associated reporting and analytical tools, including methodologies, best practices, etc.
-Hands-on development experience with OLAP, data warehouse, SQL and ETL tools
-Must demonstrate accountability, sound decision making, analytical thoroughness, clear and concise communications, and the ability to lead and mentor project team members.
-Advanced experience with designing data warehouse solutions for global reporting, across multiple technologies.
-First rate analytical and requirement interpretation

-Excellent written/verbal communication skills
-Excellent customer service and project management skills
-Technical expertise in project management and process improvement.
-Able to analyse, investigate and resolve complex data problems and queries.
-Advanced in database concepts and design using MS-SQL.
-Advanced query design and writing using T-SQL

Desirable
-Advanced Knowledge of Oracle Essbase and HFM Toolsets
-Skilled using ETL tools and techniques
-Ability to analyse, investigate and resolve complex BI issues
-Must demonstrate accountability, sound decision making, analytical thoroughness, clear and concise communications, and the ability to work well in a team.
