Global Customer Category Manager

A global FMCG company with a renowned reputation for career development is looking for a Global Customer Category Manager to join their global headquarters.

The Role

This role is a great opportunity to work within a Global Customer Category Team. The role involves strategic thinking and operational follow through at a category specific global & regional level and involve close co-operation with mainstream Category Development and Business Development organisations.

You will be focused on delivering quality customer & channel input into Category Strategy, Initiatives and Innovation to maximise customer and market impact, in addition, delivering clear guidance on Channel and Perfect Store execution in market.

Key Skills

*Range & Merchandising Skills
*Highly experienced in FMCG - preferably Category Development & Marketing experience
*External vendor management skills
*Good Project Management skills
*Ability to work across functions
*Knowledge of category management & Innovation Process Management process
*Strong ability to analyse numbers and identify key implications
*Familiar with P holistic business thinking
*Evidence of addressing business challenges and delivery
*Multi category/channel work.
*Strong understanding of operating environment

Some global travel will be involved, most likely Brazil/Asia. Once a month on average maybe less.
