Global Competitive Intelligence Manager Oncology

For our client based in Basel we are currently looking for a Global Competitive Intelligence Manager Oncology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a CI expert in monitoring key competitors and ensures timely dissemination of critical intelligence and associated recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Lead the collection of competitive intelligence from internal and external (agency) sources and undertake the synthesis and dissemination of this information to support decision making.
- Lead the coordination, planning and execution CI at conferences
- Support the organization and facilitation of Strategic Competitor Workshops
- Partner with International Strategic Insights Managers (ISIM) and US CI to support brand teams on key strategic decision making.
- Provides analyses for strategic initiatives - eg competitor landscapes, threat assessments, strategic workshops, SWOTs, target product profiles of competitor products, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Business/Marketing/Economics or Science (PhD is a plus)
- At least 3 years in similar roles within industries operating in the pharmaceutical sector or consulting firm for pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
- Experience in Immunology, Oncology or CNS is a plus
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication skills, project management
- Flexible and adaptable team player
- Good commercial understanding and awareness
- Fluent in English; Other languages are a plus
- PC literacy: MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.) are a must; Confidence with databases (Citeline, Thomson, Evaluate Pharma) is a plus
