GIS/LOCATION INTELLIGENCE (INSIDE) SALES SPECIALIST - HENLEY-ON-THAMES - CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS - £100+ PER/DAY

My client based in Henley-on-Thames requires a GIS Sales specialist on an initial 12 month contract paying £100 per day.

The candidate will have overall responsible for managing and incremental growth of the licence and data revenues from the existing clients. The role will also require the individual to work with the regional partner channel manager to ensure that the direct/indirect non named business is managed effectively to maximise the regional market revenues.

This will be for the GIS/LI PORTFOLIO consisting of the MapInfo suite (MapInfo Pro, applications, MapXtreme, Stratus, pb-Encom), Spectrum Spatial and our data portfolio through the appropriate channels.

THE ROLE REQUIRES THE INDIVIDUAL TO MANAGE THE FOLLOWING

- Inside sales activity from existing direct accounts that wish to deal directly
- The migration of new logo leads to the partner channel
- Some field sales where appropriate and field sales not in place for larger deals,

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Migrate GIS/LI direct opportunities greater than $50K to the GIS/Field Specialist
- Manage the mix of direct, inside sales and channel business
- Migrate to the channel of all of the new logo opportunities/leads.
- Build pipeline in the installed base of non-named accounts, across all GIS verticals and driving net new licence and data revenues.
- Work closely with marketing and business development/prospecting teams, owning the qualification of direct leads through to closure
- Interface with GIS/LI Pre-sales and product management, providing customer feedback
- Exhibit strong GIS/LI sales process for the installed base/inside sales with pipeline management, sales progression, forecasting and seeking assistance/help where needed.
- Provide accurate forecasting and achieve quarterly budget requirements set by the Sales Director.

KEY SKILLS

- Inside sales and some field sales or equivalent work experience
- Experienced sales professional within GIS software and services  industry with sales background and proven success of market based solutions and product sales
- Good product knowledge of GIS software
- In addition to either Local or Central Government Candidates will have experience of selling into one of the following Commercial verticals: Retail; Insurance; Financial Services; Telecommunications; or Utilities

DESIRABLE

- Experience of using Salesforce CRM
- Fluent in more than 1 European Language
