Project Coordinator/Officer with GIS desktop to ensure smooth delivery of project.

SKILLS:- - desktop GIS applications particularly Esri ArcGIS, FME and GME for cartography and the analysis and management of spatial data.
- publication and use of OGC web services and complex web applications with spatial data components.
- software development of online GIS systems, including exposure to technologies such as ArcGIS online, Google Maps and web development languages such as Python or Java.
- implementation of spatial data management standards and influencing others to follow architectural principles and industry best practices.
- ITIL change management processes and support frameworks for administration and technical support.
- IT system administration and technical support of ESRI SDE, FME Server or similar would be highly regarded.

RESPONSIBILITIES:- - Demonstrate GIS software, hardware and system technical expertise to plan and implement application and data services for projects, in cooperation with other ICT IS teams.
- Publish OGC Web Services and provide advice and support to data custodians wishing to publish their data as services.
- Assist when required with day-to-day technical support of spatial applications and data systems, particularly ArcGIS for Desktop, including technical support and troubleshooting.
- Assist in supporting the management of GA's enterprise spatial application systems, including ArcGIS for Desktop and Server, FME Workbench and Server, and Google Maps Engine, to ensure they meet the agency's ongoing business requirements.
- Provide high-level technical advice and instruction regarding geospatial data management practices.
