GIS Expert/Java/Web Developer

A prestigious client has a vacancy for a GIS expert/Java/Web Developer to work in their office in Belgium

Profile:

Your main responsibilities for the role will consist of:

Developing features on the internal tools
Ensuring technological monitoring of tools and components
Providing technical support to internal development teams
Ensuring product performance in managing mounted forecasting Product
Making reusable tools for other projects

Skills Required:

You must be a master in the Java environment/JEE - 5+ years' experience minimum
You will be a master of the following Web technologies: Openlayers, GeoTools, JSTS, Javascript, Geoserver
Possess a working knowledge of the following frameworks JAVA: Vaadin, Liferay, hybernate
Have a good knowledge of Web Services
Have a thorough knowledge of OO and service-oriented.

Beneficial Skills:

Experience in mapping technology for at least 3 years
A good knowledge of UML2
Knowledge of the JSR286 standard
Sufficient writing skills
Clear communication
An ability to meet the standards in place
An ability to work in a view to continuous improvement
Autonomy and rigor in work
Be able to demonstrate critical thinking constructively
Ability to show initiative
Ability to work in team
