GIS Data Analyst x2, 3 month, Edinburgh, £c35 per hour (GIS)

A rapidly expanding company based in Edinburgh which offers a range of management of IT consultancy services to global clients, is currently looking for a GIS analyst/developer to assist with an increasing workload.

The GIS Data Analyst will capture, maintain and anaylse geospatial information within a GIS environment as well as show development skills within these areas.

As such the GIS developer will possess:

* GIS (mapinfo, ArcMap or other)
* Good data manipulation skills (GIS & Access)
* Great analysis, visualisation and management skills.

Additional skills include:

* SQL Server or Oracle
* Utilities background, particularly in the field of water or power infrastructure (e.g. pipe or transmission networks)

The portfolio of clients include the National Grid, Scottish Water and Thames Water. This is an exciting opportunity which may require a little travel which will be fully expensed.
