GIS Data Administrator

Our client is a global leader in the resources industry with operations in over 25 countries. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced GIS Data Administrator to join their team on a Full time 12 month contract. The position will be located within their corporate offices in the Perth CBD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute relevant work flow processes for acquisition, verification, storage and maintenance of spatial data
- Produce and provide high quality GIS products and services to the project in a timely and professional manner
- Provides technical input on development/implementation/management of spatial systems
- Provide GIS technical input on work scopes as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors Degree in Spatial Sciences preferred
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position (preference to those with knowledge in pipeline geomatics)
- Skills in ESRI suite of software and technical writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail for data management and quality control
- Ability to work in a team environment
