Virgin Media are one of the largest telecommunications companies in the UK and are committed to providing products and services of the very highest quality to their customers.

We are looking to add to the expanding team of GIS Coordinators based in the large open planned offices in Bellshill. This team are responsible for the collating and receipt of planning records in various formats (electronically, hard copy or migrated from another database) from Virgin Media planning offices around the UK. Once the records have been received, they will be logged and then verified to ensure validity. This information is then inputted into the internal system in order to produce one centralised database. You will be responsible for analysing the data, identifying any possible issues or defects and ensuring these issues are logged, followed up and resolved. To ensure project milestones are achieved you will be required to produce reports on a regular basis for your internal customers; the project is expected to be completed by the end of December 2015.

Candidates with demonstrable exposure to either CAD or GIS are preferred; however, if you have recently qualified in CAD then we would still be interested in hearing from you. As a team player who is also happy to work on their own, can demonstrate excellent attention to detail, along with a keen interest in design you'll fit right into the team!
