GIS Consultant

Our client is a global leader in the resources industry with operations in over 25 countries. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced GIS Consultant to join their team on a Full time 12 month contract. The position will be located within their corporate offices in the Perth CBD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide ArcGIS Server and SDE support to GIS user community
- Maintain Silverlight web applications
- Administrate SDE
- Provide support for GIS Application Server
- Supporting other GIS Project teams and Asset development GIS group where requested
- Provide support for ArcGIS scheduled data managements tasks

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Degree or equivalent experience administering Oracle and Windows Server
- At least 10 years experience in the IT support industry
- SDE Administrator, ArcGIS Server Administration, Python Scripting and Silverlight programming
- UNIX/Linux, Oracle, GIS applications administration highly regarded
- System Expertise Windows
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
