GIS/CAD Analyst

GIS & CAD Analyst Middlesex HNC or HND, Engineering, Geometric data, CAD, Design, Civils

Rate: £200 - £225 per day

Outsource UK Ltd is looking for a GIS & CAD Analyst to join a large corporate client on a 6 month contract basis.

To apply for this opportunity you will have:

Educated to a minimum of HNC/HND level in an engineering discipline or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
Detailed knowledge of best practice approaches for generating and integrating geometric data.
Previous experience in an engineering design, surveying, construction or maintenance environment.
Experience in an engineering design, construction or maintenance environment.
An understanding of the principles of effective Service Protection and its importance to the business.
The ability to talk to customers, understand their requirements and propose efficient methods of fulfilling these requirements.
Understanding of the principles of effective document management and how document management systems assist the validation of geometric data.
Understanding of the principles of managing GeoSpatial information and the role that GIS systems play.
The ideal candidate for the role will be an expert user of CAD/BIM/GIS systems

The Client:
Large corporate client working on well known transport projects
A background in civil engineering would be an advantage but not essential
This role will be based in Middlesex which is commutable from Watford, Bracknell, Guildford, Reading & Croydon
