There are three categories: My Client is Resourcing for..
a. GIS Analyst
b. GIS Developer
c. GIS Admin
Given the fact that these resources would be based in Iraq, there would be a rotation every 28 days and this rotation ensures that there is a continuous availability of resources for the client. So effectively, we would need at least 2 resources at each category to manage continuous consistency at the client site.
BASE JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Professional GIS or GIS related educational background, with tertiary qualification in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Environment or similar.
- Proficient in English communication, oral and written.
- At least 2 years of work experience with GIS applications, ESPECIALLY IN OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY
- Proficient in the management, configuration and use of ESRI GIS Software products including ArcGIS Server, SDE, ArcGIS Desktop, Mosaic Dataset, at version 10.0 AND ABOVE.
- Proficient in the management, configuration and use of Web GIS applications, such as google map, bing map, Geocortex Essentials, ArcGIS Online, or customized online web mapping applications.
- Proficient in the use of Oracle and MS SQL Server, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat etc.
- Knowledge of general and industrial specific geospatial standards, such as OGC, EPSG, PODS, AND PPDM.
- Excellent geospatial Data capture and spatial analysis capability
- Ability to contribute to the delivery of the customer's Geospatial Data Management plan, in particular generating standards and specifications for consistently high quality spatial data.
- Self-learning, with the ability to work autonomously and quick in mastering new GIS technology.
