For a long-term project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

German speaking IT Project Manager - Software Development (4918)

The ideal candidate will be involved in the creation and integration of a new application into the application landscape of our client. The new application will support the Client Advisory process and develop a Robo advisory offering. This role is to assist the program manager in the coordination of the different development teams for this project and to support the project managers that are running these development teams.

Your Qualifications:

- Proven track record of min. 5 years of extensive experience in IT project management in software development projects
- Experience with managing budget, scope, quality & risks with globally distributed teams as well as managing software design and development and testing projects
- Good understanding of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies ideally in large global IT projects spanning over several functional areas and systems
- Degree in computer science, related to information technology, ideally with focus on banking and wealth management project management certifications are a plus
- Track record in project leadership and leading teams with various backgrounds and ability to adapt to changing priorities and assume additional responsibilities as required
- Experience in collaborating with external suppliers or managed service providers
- Fluent written and spoken in English and German

Your Responsibilities:

- Responsibility for the delivery of projects and coordinating activities across multiple business and technical stakeholders in line with business and program management priorities
- Possibility to establish and maintain project governance, analyze project metrics and management of project performance and change requests
- Responsibility to plan and optimize utilization of allocated project resources
- Manage all project phases: Setup, Initialization, System Design, Realization and Deployment of Software Life Cycle Models
- Exposure to senior management and challenging role in coordinating global teams and various stakeholders
- Support and gather program input from globally dispersed project delivery teams
- Tracking of project effort, milestone tracking, tracking of risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support other project managers in status submissions and project reviews
- Support other project managers in administrative tasks
