German Speaking Continuous Delivery Lead Engineer (4029)

For a project at our client, an international financial service provider in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

GERMAN SPEAKING CONTINUOUS DELIVERY LEAD ENGINEER (4029)

In this exciting position, you will provide hands-on support for application build configuration and application configuration management. You will be responsible for full automation of build and deployment processes supporting the agile application development teams.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- 5+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT, MANAGEMENT AND/OR CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT
- COMPREHENSIVE UNDERSTANDING OF CONTINUOUS INTEGRATION AND CONTINUOUS DELIVERY CONCEPTS
- STRONG SCRIPTING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IN APACHE ANT & MAVEN, POWERSHELL, NEXUS, JENKINS CI, SONARQUBE, SUBVERSION, SELENIUM, TOSCA
- Experience with MS Server OS and MS SQL relational databases
- Knowledge of overall networking technologies and production level infrastructures
- Understanding of WebSphere/Tomcat, ESB and file transfer technologies
- Understanding of integrating different software tools to drive automated traceability of requirements to code, to test, deployment of code components into production, and application build automation incl. package management for different environment (techn. user, certificates, env. specific config)
- Good interpersonal skills capable of collaborating and brainstorming with technical staff
- Used to work in an agile environment
- FLUENT IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH

THE ROLE:

- Full automation of build and deployment processes supporting the agile application development teams
- Provide hands-on support for application build configuration, application configuration management
- Ensures adoption of continuous delivery processes, procedures and practices
- Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for Java, .NET and related technologies
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure/DevOps Team to introduce deployment and application monitoring automation
- Collaborate with the System and Solution architects to brainstorm, design and implement technical build and deployment solutions to support a continuous application delivery pipeline
- Collaborate with the Test Team members to integrate application test automation as part of the continuous delivery pipeline
- Write build and deployment scripts
- Maintenance and improvement of automation processes
