For a year long project at our insurance client site in Zurich we are urgently looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST W DATA MODELING/DWH AND PM SKILLS (2100)

JOB SUMMARY
This business analyst analyses the requirements of the target Landscape, translates them into solution requirements and ensures their implementation throughout the project life cycle. Central element of this work is the analysis and design of a data warehouse containing all required data.

JOB TASKS
- Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system
- Understands customers' objectives, processes, and products in order to make educated recommendations
- Develops functional specifications and prepares Solution Design document(s)
- Acts as liaison between Business and IT, as assigned
- Supports the program/project managers in validation of suppliers' estimates
- Supports application testing, implementation, and training activities
- Performs quality review checks on project deliverables
- Supports program/project managers in building Business Case, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high level plan
- Drives Business Requirement gathering and analysis
- Supports solution provider in creating the Functional Design of system, where appropriate

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent specific relevant business experience)
- Certification of Business Analysis (eg CBAP) advantageous
- Knowledge of Data Modeling (including tool, eg ERWIN)
- Knowledge Project Management methodologies (preferably PMI)
- MS Office
- Working experience in insurance and/or finance industry advantageous
