For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced GERMAN SPEAKING BUSINESS ANALYST - OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT IN BANKING (2408)
Risk and Controls Self-Assessments (RCSA) refers to a systematic and regular review of the inherent operational risk that a unit is exposed to, as well as an assessment of the control landscape that is in place to mitigate these risks.
Moreover, it comprises an assessment of the residual risks that persist once the mitigating effect of the control landscape to reduce the inherent risks is taken into account.
Furthermore, remediation actions are identified to mitigate the residual risks and tracked for completion as part of the RCSA process.
The final and formal output of an RCSA exercise is a RCSA report. After consultation with RCSA owners the results are selectively shared with regulators.
We are looking for a business analyst, to work with the business's (Sales and Execution Switzerland) and experts from business risk management to perform these RCSA's.
These position report into our clients Sales and Trading Services, Business Risk Management.
The tasks you'll perform:
- Analysis, assessment and documentation of the operational risk of the Swiss business
- Identification, definition and documentation of risk mitigating controls for the Swiss business
- Coordination within Sales and Trading Services (STS) and with support organizations front to back to deliver a holistic, front to back RCSA for the Swiss business
Your qualifications and experience:
- FLUENT IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH
- Experienced business analyst in financial industry (min. 5 years)
- Strong coordination capabilities, communication and collaboration skills
- Autonomous, accurate and structured working style
- Ability to think conceptually and in frameworks
- Good writing skills: Ability to describe complex matters in short and easy understandable manner
- BANKING/FINANCIAL SERVICES BACKGROUND WITH BASIC KNOW-HOW OF:
- Products traded (Securities, Options, Funds, Foreign Exchange)
- Functions across the value chain (Sales, Trading, Execution, Operations, Product Control, Risk Management and their core processes
