GERMAN-SPEAKING APPLICATION SPECIALIST/3RD LEVEL SUPPORT

On behalf of our client, a private bank in Zürich, we are looking for a GERMAN-SPEAKING APPLICATION SPECIALIST/3RD LEVEL SUPPORT. Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity with a market leading global company then please have a look at the details:

ROLE:

- Hold the deep IT know-how for the KYC/Account Opening application within PTQA Partner
- Perform daily application management tasks (eg re-occurring maintenance tasks, incident analysis/resolution)
- Provide input for application life cycle planning, definition and management of SLAs/OLAs, planning/implementation of application changes
- Manage the overall incidents, requests and defects for Appway-based applications
- Strengthen the support processes, maintenance principles and mature the application operation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Run-the-Bank tasks:
- Maintaining an IT Service or infrastructure component (Run-the-Bank):
- Monitoring of availability of services
- Monitoring and improvement of system performance and availability (SLA, OLA)
- Handling of 3rd level support incidents and requests
- Provide Support to 1st and 2nd Level Support
- Solution Maintenance in Appway Studio
- Lifecycle management and IT Service Roadmap
- Provide ITSCM (IT Service Continuity Management)
- and assist in Disaster Recovery tests
- Maintain IT Documentation
- Change-the-Bank tasks:
- Subject matter expert (SME) for Appway especially in the area of process migration, upgrades
- Coordination of deployments into Test and Production environments
- Environment management in coordination with projects
- Project documentation review
- Strategy, Planning, Management
- Service Management
- Domain/Application Specific Know How
- Architecture and standards
- Design, Build, Test of IT Service
- Operations (3rd level support for applications)
- Continuous improvement

SKILLS:

- Over 5 years of proven experience in application specialist/3rd level support function (life cycle, maintenance, operation) and enforcing mature and stable application operation in an environment, where agile projects still extend the application under high pressure
- Proven banking experience with client data and KYC exposure
- Strong in managing of incidents and in tracking of KPIs, benchmarks (in doing as role-model, delegation and promoting internally)
- Strong knowledge of Business Process Management concepts
- Understanding of Client Relationship Management and Client Data Management systems and processes in the banking industry
- Proven expert knowledge and several years of professional experience in front technologies (eg HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, XML)
- Preferably with experience with Appway 6.3 & above, proficient with Appway Studio or with strong interest to learn it
- Understanding of software development/customization processes
- German and English fluent
