Geotechnical Engineer U/G - FIFO - QLD

An International Mining Company with multiple site in Australia as well as overseas is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for their Underground metalliferous mine in Queensland.

In this role you will be responsible for all the day to day geotechnical duties for the underground mine, and you will be offered a role that will allow you to be based in the East Coast of Australia on a FIFO roster of 8/6. In this role you will be responsible for;

- 3D stress Modelling
- EOM reporting
- Geotechnical data collection & interpretation
- Seismic processing & reporting
- Geotechnical input on day-to-day production to long term planning

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering (Geological) as well as having a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in an Underground hard rock mine. Preferably within the Australian mining sector.

Suitable candidates will be offered a salary of $130,000 to $150,000 + Bonuses and allowances. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
