Geotechnical Engineer (Principal/Associate)

Principal/ Associate Geotechnical Engineer - Glasgow or Edinburgh My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Geotechnical Engineer in either a Principal or Director capacity. This opportunity has arisen due to the Planning & Development team's current growth strategy within the renewables sector. Current projects currently consist of foundation piling design for Wind Farms. Due to the varied nature of the business, there will also be an opportunity to work on engineering infrastructure projects. As a senior member of the Geotechnical team, your responsibilities will include: - Geotechnical Engineering support - Team lead for the Geotechnical/Civil department - Ensure technical reviews are delivered to the highest standard - Business development (as appropriate with level of experience) - Site remediation & regeneration/ renewable energy/ waste To be a successful applicant you will have substantial experience of working in a consultancy, with exposure to team management, project delivery and business development. If you have the following, it will significantly strengthen your application: - Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering - At or approaching Chartered Engineer status (MICE or equivalent) - Sound Geotechnical knowledge This company will offer you a very competitive package based on your experience.
