Geotechnical Engineer FIFO - FIFO Perth

Experienced Geotechnical Engineer required for global owner operator who have a strong foothold in WA and will be here for the longterm!
You will be responsible for planning and mapping the geological complexities of the operation whilst providing tech support to the engineering department.
Key accountabilities will include the implementation of Geotechnical Standards and Procedures, ensuring ground support is installed to the site standard, delivering QA/QC information and test results and monitoring and assessment of rock mass quality assessments.

To be successful for this position you must possess the following:

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering
- 2 - 3 years underground Geotechnical Engineering experience
- Understanding of open pit geological structures
- Geotechnical data assessment and auditing experience
- Geotechnical Mapping and Planning
- Excellent Communication skills
- Knowledge of Surpac software (desirable)
