Geology and Geophysics (G&G) Windows and Linux Application Support Eng

Oil & Gas G&G application deployment and troubleshooting Support Engineer required to manage the workstations and server based infrastructure under Petrotech.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for users to agreed service levels, general support/administration in a large networked environment, environment of Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, UNIX/Linux systems, Citrix XenApp6 fault finding, problem resolution, including HP Workstation related issues. Application deployment in Altiris, Active Directory, Network support and NetBackup for data archives
* Strong and proven troubleshooting skills
* Call Management, Remedy or similar
* ITIL processes, change/incident management, SLA
* Windows 7, Windows Server 2008/2012 troubleshooting and configuration
* Altiris (or similar) application deployments
* System Monitoring tools (?Nagios? preferable).
* Application License management; Quorum Licenses; FlexLm.
* System Administration in Linux Enterprise versions (Red Hat 5.5+)
* Citrix XenApp6, 64Bit

The ideal candidate will also have Petroleum Geology application support experience.
