Geologist Stratigrapher Sedimentologist Contract job - E&P

A new interesting contract positions arose at a Mid-sized E&P company I'm working together with.

Regular presence will be requested on site in the Southwest for catch ups but we can accept an independent worker that can mainly work from his home office.

We're looking for a Geologist with sedimentology experience and sedimentary petrology concepts who have significant experience with core description/petrographic reservoir characterisation (clastsic).

You will work with the operations groups involved in the analysis of unconventional natural gas and oil reservoirs onshore US.

Responsibilities will include:
Describing, interpreting and integrating core descriptions and petrography of carbonates, mudstones and sandstones into depositional and sequence stratigraphic models

Analysing diverse datasets to upgrade stratigraphic interpretations and assist the Petrophysical group in calibrating rock attributes to petrophysical properties

10 years minimum of experience is needed and we don't deal with unauthorised US workers for this position
