Geologist/Aberdeen

I am currently working with an independent, highly rewarded subsurface consultancy that, due to exceptional demand for their services, is looking to grow their Geoscience and Reservoir Engineering group, is looking for talented and motivated Geologists.

Requirements/Core Skills

- Degree or MSc in Geological Sciences
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well within a team as well as independently when required
- Fluent Verbal and Written English
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Project management skills
- Presentation techniques
- Well log interpretation
- Basin and play analysis
- Structural geology
- Subsurface mapping techniques
- 3D Geological modelling
- Reservoir characterisation and sedimentology

Beneficial Skills

- Petrophysical evaluation
- Seismic interpretation
- Basin analysis
- Conversant in reservoir engineering

Experience

- Working as part of a subsurface team interacting with other disciplines on integrated projects
- Work with a Major Operator and/or Consultancy
