Geological Advisor GOM

Mid sized operator based in Houston is looking for a Geological Advisor for their GOM group. This is a very high profile position and the potential candidate will need to have Deepwater GOM experience within the last five years. Experience: Minimum 15 years exploration and production geosciences experience, mostly operating, with reputable company(ies) Preferably some exposure to appraisal and development projects Experience working DW GoM, or at least deepwater depositional systems Demonstrate a record of prospect generation and geologic support in deep water exploration with previous exposure working the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico advantage. Seismic interpretation, a technical understanding of salt tectonics and siliciclasitc depositional systems and sequence stratigraphy. Demonstrate the ability to integrate seismic interpretation with depositional systems for regional to prospect level geologic support. Advise, assist and mentor team geoscientists on best practices, and manage work efforts to achieve appropriate balance of quality, time and cost given the business objectives of the projects.
