Geography Teacher

Simply Education requires a teacher of Geography initially for a maternity cover post for the Academic Year 2014-15 in a busy Northampton based school. This exciting post includes the teaching of Geography and a little History between Year 10 and Year 13 in a school where both subjects are extremely popular.

We are looking for an experienced Humanities Teacher who has the knowledge and experience of the UK School Curriculum. Ideally you will have taught Geography to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students, however we would look at candidates who have gained a qualification in any of the Humanities specialisms.

As the successful Geography teacher you will need to;
- Be a Geography/Humanities teacher with QTS ( NQTS welcome )
- Have the ability and experience of covering Geogrpahy in secondary schools
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
- have the ability to adapt to suit lessons at short notice
