Geo & Engineering Techs

Duties:

* Transfer data between and coordinate with vendors, contractors and explorationists
* Order, reformat and load well logs, tops, position logs, time/depth tables and test data to OpenWorks and Petrel
* Transfer data between software packages, clean up and standardize databases
* Load and QC 2D and 3D seismic data to SeisWorks and Petrel
* Create new projects in OpenWorks, SeisWorks, Petrel and Paradigm, Petra, Geographix
* Perform searches and download data from IHS Enerdeq
* Convert data to appropriate coordinate system
* Scan maps, digitize lines and polygons, reformat data and load as culture to Landmark and Petrel
* Find, download, plot, copy, modify and archive images
* Create maps in ArcMap and Zmap
* Edit shape files, calculate areas for prospects and mileage of seismic lines
* Prepare presentations for management review
* Integrate Apache's land position into mapping software.

Requirements:

* 5 years technical experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
* Bachelor's degree a plus
