CHEMICAL/GENERAL OPERATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MADISON, WI

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Must have the availability to work Monday - Friday (6:00am - 2:30pm) or Monday - Friday (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
- Successful work history with zero (0) - three (3) years experience and proven mechanical ability
- Must have the ability to reach, grasp, handle, and use manual dexterity to operate equipment
- Must be able to wear proper PPE that may be required
- Position requires the use of personal protective equipment and respiratory protection since conditions may be humid, dusty, and cold
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using percentages and decimals to utilize the Metric/English system for measurement
- Must have the ability to be trained to use a computer which will be a necessity to retrieve and enter data on a database, navigate the Internet for safety training, and provide email correspondence
- Ability to perform duties in temperatures ranging from negative ten (-10) degrees to seventy five (75) degrees Fahrenheit
- The work requires that employees be able to maintain a high level of personal hygiene, cleanliness, and safety; and be able to wear safety protection and handle potentially hazardous chemicals

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Ensure adherence to all quality systems including, but not limited to, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and Food Safety, with an understanding of the clients Quality Policy and procedures
- Comply with all Company policies including, but not limited to, Quality, Safety, Food Safety, Environmental, GMP's, HAACP, Early Reporting of Pain, and Attendance
- Operate production equipment and production tools such as COP tank, Quadroco mill, vacumax transfer, filling machines, capping machines, sealing printing equipment, forklifts, and palletizing
- Assemble and disassemble production equipment
- Prepare materials for blending, which requires weighing and mixing raw materials in accordance with batch ticket specifications, and filling equipment with appropriate materials
- Operator must use personal protective equipment as determined by the environmental hygiene assessment survey
- Order replacement parts and packaging supplies to maintain adequate supplies for production and operation
