General Ledger Accountant

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

- Good Technical Accountant with strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related subjects and ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or well advanced in completing qualification is highly essential.
- 2 - 3 years accounting experience within a multinational environment
- Problem Solver; Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively and follow through on assignments
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials, SAP or similar accounting package
- Knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Qualified Accountant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

MONTH-END

- Liaising with partners in Juniper's Bangalore office
- Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
- Review of departmental costs
- Analytical Reviews
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Registers across the region

TREASURY ACCOUNTING

- Bank Reconciliations
- Regional Treasury Inter-Company Accounting
- Reclass FX entries

REGIONAL COMPLIANCE ACTIVITY

- Audit queries from Juniper's internal and external auditors
- Account reconciliations
- Statistical Returns

OTHER

- Work with Accounting Manager to provide accounting services to countries supported by SSC & meet scheduled deadlines for completion of work, presentation of reports, and any other time sensitive responsibilities
