GBM Accounting Business Analyst

A Finance Accounting System Business Analyst is required to join a market-leading tier 1 investment bank based in Canary Wharf, London, on a 6 month rolling contract.

Specifically the purpose of this role is to support the Global Banking & Market systems conversion Manager within the Source system/Tranche stream, acting as a key lead in a project workstream that will feed into the UK Source system conversion project, part of the Bank's Finance Transformation Programme.

The role will be focused on ensuring the successful delivery of Global Banking & Markets source system data into a new platform in 2013 through 2014 in accordance with Global Banking & Markets requirements ,and that the new platform is aligned with the strategic future state.

Key Business Analyst Knowledge and / or experience required for this position:
* - Prior working knowledge of Global Banking and Markets preferred.
* - An understanding of GM products and their accounting flows
* - Part or fully qualified
* - Prior Project work experience on a strategic project.
* - An understanding of Project Lifecycle
* - Strong Coordination and communication skills and an attention to detail.
* - Experienced in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Access
* - Dynamic Team player
