Gas Scada Systems Engineer

Primary task will be testing new SCADA system for gas distribution. This includes configuring test RTUs and validating data on SCADA displays. Individual will validate graphical, text, and dynamic functional on displays migrated from old SCADA system to new. Individual will implement point configuration and screen changes. They will be part of a small team and will be expected to be sufficiently self directed to complete project work with minimal direction.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
(1) Experience using and configuring a SCADA system.
(2) Experience RTU programming.
(3) Basic SQL query skills.
(4) Computer programming in any language.
(5) Good work ethics.
(6) Autonomous.
(7) Good documentation skills.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
(1) Experience in the Natural Gas industry.
(2) Experience with Siemens Spectrum Power TG and Schneider ClearSCADA.
(3) Experience with Bristol Babcock RTU programming with ControlWave Designer.
(4) RTU field work on gas gate stations and regulators.
(5) VBA programming.
(6) No degree is required, but Bachelor degree in engineering or computer science would be helpful.
(7) Candidates MUST HAVE at least five (5) to ten (10) years of experience.
