GARMENT FIT PROGRAM INTERN (CHICAGO)

Compensation: $750.00 per week PLUS bonus

- Bonus award of one week's pay ($750.000) for those that complete the full six weeks of the program.
- Contract job/internship

POSITION SUMMARY:

Pursuant to a nationwide marketing campaign, the Intern will assist the sales team as they travel from one locale to the next either by car, rail or flight; travel may require the Intern to leave on a Sunday and not return until Monday.

The Intern is accountable for ensuring that all materials, exhibits and related brochures and/or information is packed, shipped (or loaded into the car) and inventoried at each location. They will assist in overseeing that all of the contents are displayed in accordance with the company's standards/practices within the designated timeframes.

Additionally, the Intern will be responsible for:
- Supporting the business by maintaining a professional appearance and ensuring that any/all customer related issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Partner with the sales team in acquiring new business by becoming a subject matter expert capable of answering questions posed by customer either in person or in writing.
- Assisting the sales, marketing and finance department (or internal customers) with a positive "can-do" approach to work that takes into account both operational efficiencies/inefficiencies, as well as the potential for increased revenue.

All travel related costs (flights, trains, cars, hotels and meals) are paid by the company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a career in sales and/or marketing; the work will require long days and perhaps even some weekends.
