Gaming Console Developer C++

Yoh has a one (1) year contract opportunity for a GAMING CONSOLE DEVELOPER C++ to join our client in Kirkland/Seattle, WA.

JOB OVERVIEW:
- The ideal developer for this position should have a passion for video games, a strong understanding of 3D UI programming, and deep familiarity with consuming online services.
- Candidates should be excited and motivated about creating new media and game companion experiences.
- Come be a part of a new, fun and talented development family building game technology in a startup studio environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be a key part of our development team building new media, game companion, and community experiences that support and connect with our team.
- You will work with producers, artists, designers, developers and testers.
- You will play a publishing development role leading, teaching, and assisting developers at an external studio in their development with our products.
- You will coordinate with a small, elite team of in-house developers responsible for the other platforms on which our game and community appears.
- 3D UI that feels like it comes from the future and is worthy of our name
- Owning the architecture and quality
- Leading developers at an external studio in the development.
- Architecting our game to support multiple feature releases per year over many years
- Writing lots and lots of code

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three (3) plus years of professional C++ experience
- Two (2) plus years of professional experience building UI and Networking code
- Professional experience writing network service communication code using XLSP
- Strong debugging and optimization skills in a multi-threaded, network connected environment

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Agile development is a plus
