Games Software Dev Engineer

We are seeking a strong Android Developer to help build a compelling game experience for a best-selling mobile product. If you are highly versatile, a fast learner and are adept at finding simple but elegant solutions to highly complex situations, this is your ideal environment. This is not a role for an order taker, you will help mold the company into a powerful set of services for developer customers and an immersive experience our game-playing customers.

To be successful, you'll need experience in Java on the Android platform. Great communication skills and an obsession with delighting customers is a must. A strong grasp of software design and architecture, efficient coding skills with a bent for quality, and a relentless focus on results will promote success in this environment. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4+ years relevant work experience
- 4 years professional experience in software development
- Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java or C++

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C++/C# and/or Java)
- Android development
- Game industry experience a plus
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly

This contract position is expected to be 3 months in duration.
