FX Front Office Application Support

My client, a world famous investment bank, is searching for a permanent, technical, front office application support analyst to join their team in the City,London.

The role itself is a front office, highly technical, system support analyst role sitting with the FX trading desks. Day-to-day, your role will be split between proactively monitoring the systems and dealing with the users issues in a technical application support environment and the other 50% of your time will be spent carrying out small system improvements through coding and programming in short term projects. Once in this role, you will be interacting with all areas of the bank, including other asset classes, global offices, directors, sales, operations, controllers and of course the traders.

This role is perfect for someone who is working out side of the banking industry who has a genuine interest to their foot in the door, however you must be currently in a role where you are working close to the users, support mission-/time-critical applications and have excellent technical skills in the below:

- OO Programming language (Java, C++, Python, PERL etc)
