Futures/Clearing Support, Prime Brokerage

Top Investment bank in the City of London has a new exciting role; specifically application support within Clearing at their Prime Brokerage/Futures and Hedge Fund Services. The role is a hybrid of both technical support and client consultancy work. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain significant product exposure, facing off to external clients. You will be required to provide exceptional client facing skills to provide a real hands on approach to solving issues for external users for the Global PB/ Futures desk. A strong candidate will be able to deal with pressure, tight time constraints and be technically able to consult across the business . To apply, the Candidate must have: * Strong level of understanding of Futures/Prime Brokerage market environments * A 50/50 ratio of technical knowledge -advanced in Application Support within the PB / Futures Business. * Linux and/or UNIX advanced user with scripting experience e.g. Shell, Korn, Bash, Perl. * Knowledge of SQL/Sybase * Extensive experience in similar markets carrying out Level 1 and/or 2 Application Support A very rare and exciting vacancy and will be filled fast!
